Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. Bangkok translates to ‘Krung Thep’ for short in Thai, its translated meaning is “City of angels, the great city of immortals, the magnificent city of the nine gems, the seat of the king, city of royal palaces, home of gods incarnate, erected by Vishvakarman at Indra’s behest”.
It is a city that never sleeps, with twinkling lights everywhere you look, and the smell of aromatic freshly cooked Thai food – either in Michelin Star restaurants or the local street food vendors (most operating 24 hours).
The bustling districts are filled with excitement and you see something new every day.
It is one of the most accessible cities in the world, with the BTS Skytrain, MRT, Bus service, Taxis, Mopeds, River Taxis, and the world-famous TukTuks. You can be sure that you will never struggle to find a method of transportation to get around and make the most of your trip.

Home to some of the world’s most stunning architectural masterpieces, the Temples are second to none, such as Wat Arun Ratchawararam the Temple of Dawn, dating back to the Ayutthaya period and seen as one of the Royal Temples of King Rama II.
